Current Research
My research is focused on understanding how neurons properly generate and maintain dendrites and axons. I study the sorting and transport of neuronal membrane proteins after their processing in the Golgi. Using confocal microscopy my lab images fluorescent protein constructs to understand how they reach their appropriate cellular location.
